Senior Automation Engineer / Startup / Midtown, Atlanta

An Atlanta grown startup is expanding their engineering department in the heart of the city! They are hiring for a Senior DevOps engineer who can join their team full-time in a 2-day hybrid schedule in Midtown, Atlanta. This company offers a great growth opportunity for the right person to take advantage of, as they continue to skyrocket in a growing AI/ML market.
This company is a consulting shop that curate’s software to streamline business services with AI for their clients. Their software is used to help a business identify vulnerabilities in their source code, and make sure this process becomes automated. As the DevOps engineer, you will be hands-on coding with Java/Kotlin, automating their CI/CD pipelines, and helping them move from on-prem into AWS soon. A strong application will have a startup mindset, and will be skilled in AWS, GitHub, Java/Kotlin, Kubernetes, Angular, and Kafka.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience as a DevOps engineer
• Cloud migration experience (AWS preferred)
• Proven experience with automation tools such as GitHub, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker
• Coding experience with Java or Kotlin

Desired Skills & Experience

• Ability to commute to the Atlanta office weekly.
• Startup experience
• Ability to mentor/ coach other teammates.
• 4-year degree from an accredited college or university
• No sponsorship needed.
