Senior DevOps Engineer/ Javascript

Atlanta, Georgia

Remote Local

Full Time

$145k - $175k

This role places you at the center of a large-scale engineering platform that supports products impacting millions of workers every day. As a lead engineer, you won’t just be writing code—you’ll be architecting and owning the DevOps pipelines, frameworks, and developer tools that enable teams to build, test, and deliver at scale. This is a position for someone who can navigate complexity, make architectural decisions, and bring both leadership and deep technical skill, particularly in JavaScript and TypeScript environments.

You’ll be a leader, builder, and advocate—guiding engineering teams, shaping strategy, and ensuring CI/CD automation is not only efficient but resilient and secure. The role blends full lifecycle ownership with technical mentorship, giving you the chance to influence both code and culture across an enterprise-scale environment.

  • Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript/TypeScript (Node.js, React, Angular, NPM) as a primary engineering language alongside backend Java

  • Expertise with containerization and orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker) and deploying to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Desired Skills & Experience
  • Deep knowledge of architecture and design patterns for scalable, resilient services

  • Experience with observability and telemetry practices built into the development lifecycle

  • Familiarity with accessibility, diversity-driven design, and mentoring best practices in modern engineering teams

Daily Responsibilities
  • Hands-On Engineering: 65%

  • Technical Leadership & Cross-Team Collaboration: 35%

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis now and in the future.

Accommodation will be provided in all parts of the hiring process as required under Motion Recruitment’s Employment Accommodation policy. Applicants need to make their needs known in advance.
