An established insurance provider in Bedford Park, IL is hiring a Senior Guidewire/Java Developer to advance their enterprise system modernization. This role blends Guidewire expertise with Java backend development, making it a key position for enhancing and customizing core policy, billing, and claims applications.

• 5+ years of Java development experience
• 3+ years working with Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter
• Strong understanding of software development best practices (Agile, DevOps, CI/CD)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field

Desired Skills & Experience

• Auto insurance industry knowledge strongly preferred
• Experience integrating Guidewire with external systems
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable solutions

• Tech Breakdown: 70% Guidewire development, 30% Java backend integration
• Daily Responsibilities: Building and customizing Guidewire applications, collaborating with architecture teams, and driving system modernization initiatives
