Job Description An energy analytics company local to Boston is hiring a Senior Java Developer to their team. As a Senior Engineer you’ll be working directly on the company’s core analytics product used to collect data from IoT devices. This role is a 6-month contract and is two days a week on-site north of Boston. The company specializes in the renewable energy space and energy analytics. Their products allow for companies to make smarter decisions about where their energy is spent and how to optimize their energy use. You’ll working with highly scalable Java based applications and ideal candidates are skilled with Spring WebFlux or Reactive programming. Required Skills & Experience
- Highly skilled in Java and Spring Boot
- Highly skilled in Spring WebFlux or Reactive programming
- Skilled in REST API development
- Skilled in Azure or AWS
- Exposure to Microservices
- Experience working in the Energy Industry
- 5+ years of hands-on development experience
- Degree in a related field
- Strong technical skills
- 100% Hands-On
