Job Title: C++ Developer - Computational Geometry, Graphics, and Meshing
Location: Greater Boston Area (Hybrid Full-Time Role)

Our client is a leading developer in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) solutions. They specialize in cutting-edge software that simulates fluid flow, optimizing performance across various industries. Located in the Greater Boston area, offering a hybrid work environment, combining the flexibility of remote work with the collaborative spirit of onsite teamwork.

They are seeking a talented C++ Developer with a strong background in Computational Geometry, Graphics, and Meshing. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of numerical approximations and a passion for developing high-performance software solutions in the field of Computational Fluid Dynamics.

Required Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Strong background in Computational Geometry, Meshing, and Graphics algorithms.
  • Knowledge of numerical methods and numerical approximations.
  • Familiarity with software development best practices, including version control (Git), testing methodologies, and agile development processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Master's degree in Computer science
  • Experience with performance optimization techniques and parallel computing is a plus.

  • Design and develop advanced algorithms and data structures for computational geometry, mesh generation, and graphics processing.
  • Implement numerical methods and algorithms to solve complex problems related to fluid dynamics simulation.
  • Optimize performance and memory usage of existing C++ codebase, ensuring scalability and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including researchers, engineers, and product managers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews, debugging, and testing to maintain code quality and stability.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in computational geometry, graphics, and numerical methods to drive innovation within the team.
