We are looking for a highly skilled and strategic Cloud Architect to design, implement, and optimize scalable, secure, and resilient cloud solutions in Amazon Web Services (AWS). This role plays a critical part in driving our cloud strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals while leveraging modern cloud technologies and best practices.

As a Cloud Architect, you’ll work cross-functionally with engineering, security, DevOps, and business teams to architect systems that support our innovation, growth, and operational excellence. You’ll have a mix of hands-on technical work and high-level planning responsibilities in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and architect secure, scalable, and high-performing cloud solutions using AWS services.

  • Evaluate business requirements and translate them into architectural designs and implementation plans.

  • Guide cloud infrastructure setup, including networking, compute, storage, security, and automation.

  • Develop and enforce cloud architecture standards, frameworks, and best practices.

  • Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to integrate cloud-native technologies, IaC (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation), and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Ensure systems are built with resiliency, observability, and cost-efficiency in mind.

  • Lead cloud migration strategies and modernization initiatives for legacy systems.

  • Support governance, compliance, and security policies in cloud environments.

  • Provide mentorship and guidance to developers and IT operations staff on cloud architecture and services.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 8+ years of IT experience, with at least 3+ years focused on cloud architecture (preferably in AWS).

  • Deep hands-on experience with core AWS services such as EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, and more.

  • Strong background in system design, distributed systems, networking, and cloud security.

  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).

  • Strong understanding of CI/CD, DevOps principles, and container orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes/EKS).

  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Preferred:

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional)

  • Experience with multi-account/multi-region AWS environments

  • Familiarity with hybrid cloud and on-premises integration

  • Exposure to monitoring/logging tools (e.g., Datadog, CloudWatch, ELK stack)
