Design and implement embedded control algorithms for electromechanical systems including actuators, motors, and sensor interfaces.

Develop real-time software for microcontrollers, DSPs, or FPGAs using C/C++ and RTOS environments.

Perform modeling and simulation of dynamic systems using tools such as MATLAB/Simulink.

Support system integration, testing, and validation of embedded controls in laboratory and field environments.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, mechanical, and systems engineers to define control requirements and system architecture.

Conduct hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and software-in-the-loop (SIL) testing.

Document designs, verification activities, and provide technical input for customer deliverables and design reviews.

Ensure compliance with aerospace safety standards and applicable military specifications (DO-178, DO-254, MIL-STD-1553, etc.).

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.

3+ years of experience in embedded control system design and implementation.

Proficiency in C/C++ for embedded systems and real-time programming.

Strong background in control theory, sensor fusion, signal processing, and system modeling.

Experience with embedded development tools, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and debugging techniques.

Familiarity with communication protocols such as CAN, SPI, I2C, UART, or MIL-STD interfaces.

U.S. Citizenship required due to federal contract obligations.

Experience with aerospace or defense system development.

Knowledge of flight control systems, autonomous systems, or missile guidance.

Familiarity with Model-Based Design (MBD) and auto-code generation using MATLAB/Simulink.

Experience with DO-178C/DO-254 or other aerospace software/hardware certification standards.
-
Active U.S. Security Clearance.
