Job Description Presenting a full-time Front-End Developer opportunity with a leading education organization based in the Greater Boston Area. Their technology team is central to driving growth and innovation, supporting students and teachers nationwide through a suite of proprietary, cloud-based platforms. In this role, you’ll work with a modern stack that includes HTML5, CSS3, SASS, JavaScript (ES6), TypeScript, Angular, React, REST/GraphQL APIs, and AWS to build scalable applications that directly improve the learning experience.

Improves how kids across the country learn math. As part of their tech group, you’ll be building and enhancing systems like their curriculum management platform, student information system, and virtual classroom tools — all of which are central to delivering quality education. They’re looking for a motivated front-end developer who not only writes clean, high-performance code but also brings curiosity and creativity to the table. Required Skills & Experience
  • Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, SASS, and other web standards
  • Solid knowledge of ES6, TypeScript, and Object-Oriented Design
  • Experience building Single Page Applications (SPA) with frameworks like Angular (preferred) or React
  • Understanding of visual design and usability principles
  • Experience integrating front-end applications with REST and/or GraphQL services
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Familiarity with Node.js, Express, or other server-side frameworks
  • Experience with AWS cloud environments
  • Exposure to CI/CD tools (GitLab, Ansible) and configuration management
  • Background with test automation tools (unit, integration, functional, load testing)
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work across the full software development lifecycle

  • 20% Back End
Daily Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain single-page applications using Angular (preferred), React, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Write clean, efficient, and scalable code following best practices in HTML5, CSS3, and SASS.
  • Collaborate with designers, product owners, and other engineers to deliver user-friendly features.
  • Integrate front-end applications with REST and GraphQL APIs to ensure smooth data flow.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including planning, code reviews, and deployments.
  • Contribute to test automation efforts, ensuring applications are reliable and performant.
  • Work within a cloud-based environment (AWS), leveraging CI/CD pipelines and tools like GitLab.
