Position Overview: They are seeking a talented and experienced Lead Frontend React Engineer to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in the development and maintenance of their flagship products, contributing your expertise in React.js and frontend technologies to drive innovation and deliver best-in-class user experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the frontend development team in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and responsive web applications using React.js
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to translate product requirements into technical solutions
- Drive the adoption of best practices in frontend development, including code reviews, testing, and documentation
- Mentor and coach junior members of the team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to continually improve our frontend development processes and tooling
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development, with a strong focus on React.js
- Proven track record of leading and delivering complex frontend projects from conception to deployment
- Deep understanding of modern JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, with a passion for writing clean, maintainable code
- Experience with state management libraries such as Redux or MobX
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Git, CI/CD pipelines)
Nice to Have:
- Experience with GraphQL and RESTful APIs
- Knowledge of performance optimization techniques for web applications
- Familiarity with server-side rendering (SSR) and/or Next.js
- Contributions to open-source projects or active participation in the developer community
