Job Description
A leading technology company is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer to define the technical direction of its most complex products. In this role, you’ll serve as the top electrical engineering authority, solving high-impact technical challenges and guiding critical design decisions that shape the company’s technology roadmap. You’ll mentor and coach a team of engineers, raise technical standards, and ensure designs meet the highest levels of performance, reliability, and manufacturability.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Deep expertise in RF, mixed-signal, digital, and low-noise PCB design

  • Strong background in analog, digital, power supply, timing/PLLs, and power electronics

  • Hands-on experience with electronics design that integrates with electromechanical and software subsystems

  • Mastery of simulation, CAD, analysis, and documentation tools

  • Proficiency in developing design specifications, verification testing, and traceability matrices

  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with product, manufacturing, quality, regulatory, and service teams

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Experience leading design-for-manufacturing, design-for-test, and design-for-serviceability initiatives

  • Familiarity with system-level architecture development

  • Strong mentoring and coaching experience to raise team technical capability

  • Proven ability to implement process and tool improvements that shorten design cycles or improve product quality

  • 50% Hands-on electrical design and validation

  • 25% System architecture and integration with cross-functional teams

Daily Responsibilities

  • Architect, design, and direct execution of electrical projects

  • Translate product requirements into detailed design specifications

  • Lead schematic and PCB design reviews to reduce production risk

  • Create and maintain test protocols, oversee execution, and deliver final reports

  • Drive system integration and usability studies with product management

  • Mentor engineers while raising technical standards across the team

  • Present and participate in comprehensive technical and design reviews
