Job Description
Our client, a Series A startup in the insurance tech space, is looking to hire a DBA. This is a 4+ month contract position. In this role, you will help to advise, implement, and maintain the database system for the company from scratch.

- 8+ years of database administration and management experience
- Expert level proficiency with Microsoft SQL server
- Strong knowledge of cloud database technologies (AWS preferred)
- Proven skills in performance monitoring, query tuning, indexing, and optimization
- Experience with backup/restore, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning
- Background in fast-paced or regulated industries
- Familiarity with database security and compliance best practices
- 70% Server Administration & Optimization
