Job Description Our client, a Series A startup in the insurance tech space, is looking to hire a DBA. This is a 4+ month contract position. In this role, you will help to advise, implement, and maintain the database system for the company from scratch.
Contract Duration: 4+ months Required Skills & Experience
  • 8+ years of database administration and management experience
  • Expert level proficiency with Microsoft SQL server
  • Strong knowledge of cloud database technologies (AWS preferred)
  • Proven skills in performance monitoring, query tuning, indexing, and optimization
  • Experience with backup/restore, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Background in fast-paced or regulated industries
  • Familiarity with database security and compliance best practices
