As a Principal Firmware Engineer, you will lead the development of embedded firmware solutions for medical devices, playing a pivotal role in ensuring compliance, performance, and reliability. You will lead a team of skilled engineers, guiding them through all phases of firmware development while adhering to regulatory standards and best practices. Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Proven experience (8+ years) in embedded firmware development, preferably within the medical device industry or other regulated environments.
• Expertise in programming languages such as C/C++ for embedded systems.
• Strong understanding of real-time operating systems (RTOS), device drivers, and hardware/software integration.
• Demonstrated leadership experience, including leading teams, making technical decisions, and driving projects to successful completion.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and guidelines applicable to medical devices (e.g., ISO 13485, IEC 62304, FDA regulations).
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to travel occasionally to client sites as needed.
