Senior Analyst / Investment Analytics

We are currently working with a major company in the asset management industry with affiliates across the globe, managing over $100 billion on behalf of pension funds, endowments, governments, and other investors. Their goal is to be a firm where their ideas are empowered by technology and they're making an internal shift to be more technology focused. 

They're looking for a Senior Analyst to develop, enhance, and validate, their proprietary risk, forecasting, and transaction cost models for their research and production infrastructure. This role will also require you to enhance their data platform and build systems that cleanse and integrate data from various sources for modelling needs. 

The ideal candidate will be experienced with Python, as well as tools like Pandas, Sklearn, etc. They're also looking for someone familiar with financial data series and building out optimized data structures and delivery platforms. CFA charter is a huge plus as well.

Required Skills & Experience

• 6+ years of hands on development experience working with Python
• Experience with any of the following or similar: Pandas, Sklearn, Statmodels, etc.
• Familiar with popular machine learning algorithms and packages
• Familiar with financial data series and operating data delivery platforms
• Expereince working as a developer or analyst at an investment firm
• Ability to clearly articulate your approach, process, and results in verbal, graphical, and written form

Desired Skills & Experience

• BS or MS in CS, another related field, or equivalent related work experience
•  CFA charter
