Are you looking for a unique opportunity to build and lead a DevOps organization from the ground up? This role offers full ownership to design, implement, and scale enterprise-wide DevOps capabilities that directly support strategic business growth and innovation.

We’re building the next generation of platform and infrastructure services to support a growing ecosystem of merchants, developers, and partners. We value small, empowered teams, fast delivery of real-world solutions, and a culture of continuous improvement. This role is perfect for a hands-on leader passionate about automation, reliability, and developer velocity.

What You’ll Do

As a DevOps Engineering Lead, you’ll act as a player-coach to install and champion a DevOps culture across the organization. You’ll architect and implement a fully automated CI/CD pipeline supporting both on-premise and multi-cloud environments, incorporating Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles, modern tooling, and compliance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and lead the DevOps function, mentoring engineers and driving enterprise-wide DevOps adoption.

  • Architect, implement, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines with built-in security, quality gates, and automation.

  • Partner with development teams to standardize DevOps practices and improve product delivery lifecycles.

  • Automate application builds, testing, deployments, and environment provisioning (cloud and on-prem).

  • Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform and configuration as code using Ansible.

  • Lead efforts around containerization (Docker) and image curation (Packer).

  • Guide teams on best practices in software delivery, version control, environment management, and deployment orchestration.

  • Maintain and optimize build and release pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CircleCI, or Azure DevOps.

  • Provide thought leadership around cloud architecture and deployment strategies across AWS, Azure, or GCP.

  • Contribute to operational support through incident troubleshooting, performance tuning, and system monitoring.

  • Evaluate and integrate DevOps tooling and vendor solutions to stay ahead of industry trends.

  • Ensure robust cloud security practices are implemented and maintained.

  • Create clear and thorough documentation for operational processes, infrastructure, and pipelines.

Qualifications Required:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

  • 6+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering roles.

  • 6+ years of experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

  • Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, GitLab, CircleCI, Azure DevOps, or similar.

  • Deep knowledge of IaC and configuration management using Terraform and Ansible.

  • Experience with scripting languages like Python, JavaScript, or Shell.

  • Proficiency in Docker and container orchestration workflows.

  • Strong understanding of networking, system security, and cloud infrastructure services (e.g., EC2, RDS, S3, IAM).

  • Experience managing enterprise build systems (NuGet, Maven, Gradle).

  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools like Jira, Kanban boards, and Scrum workflows.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred:
  • Experience using Packer for machine image creation.

  • Familiarity with observability tools such as Elastic, Splunk, or Datadog.

  • Experience in highly regulated environments (PCI-DSS, SOC 2).

  • Prior leadership or mentorship experience within DevOps or infrastructure teams.

  • Experience with hybrid cloud and on-premises systems.

  • Knowledge of virtualization platforms like VMware or Hyper-V.

What You’ll Get
  • Opportunity to build and lead a high-impact DevOps function

  • Influence over the architecture and strategy of next-generation platforms

  • Flexibility to work remotely and own your workflow

  • A collaborative team that values innovation, autonomy, and delivery

If you're a DevOps expert looking for a high-impact role where you can shape infrastructure at scale, drive technical excellence, and work with cutting-edge tools, we want to hear from you.
