Position Overview
They are seeking an experienced Full-Stack Engineer to join our growing team. As a Full-Stack Engineer, you'll be instrumental in building and maintaining high-performance web applications, leveraging modern technologies to solve complex problems in the government contracting space. This is an onsite position in Boston, where you will work alongside talented engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using React and TypeScript on the frontend.
- Work on backend services and APIs with Node.js and Python.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Write clean, scalable, and efficient code, adhering to best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
- Help optimize and improve application performance and scalability.
- Ensure high-quality testing, continuous integration, and deployment.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to manage deployments and monitor application performance.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience as a Full-Stack Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript for frontend development.
- Hands-on experience with backend technologies, particularly Node.js and Python.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Proven ability to write clean, maintainable code and participate in agile development cycles.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Nice to Have
- Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform).
- Experience in the government contracting space is a plus.
