Software Engineer for a Government Consulting Company

Job Description Our client is looking for a mid-level software engineer that can help them migrate legacy applications to more up to date framework. There will be a lot of development work involved in the role. This organization focuses on selling counter automation solution, data management, and application development tools and software for bill collection, entitlement payments, licenses, retail sales, and banking worldwide. The ideal candidate must be willing to travel to the Boston office twice a week initially, with the frequency reducing to once a month. We are looking for an engineer who can collaborate effectively with the existing team, bring innovation, and excel in development. The team uses WPF, C# and .NET so proficiency in these is crucial to success in this role. Required Skills & Experience

• 4+ years of C#, .NET
• Web Service Knowledge (XML, or JSON, SOAP, REST)
• Post Secondary education in Computer Science or Software engineering
• Knowledge of Xamarin or WPF or Xamarin Forms

Desired Skills & Experience

• PCL and Share Code
• XAML
