Senior Java Kotlin Engineer / React / Microservices / CICD / AWS / Hybrid / Burbank

Our client Disney is one of the largest and well-known TV, Movie and video streaming content delivery platform companies worlewide. They have an average of 50 million+ viewers at any given time watching their aggrigated services.

They looking for a contract Senior Full-stack Java Kotlin Software Engineer. This is a hybrid role local to Burbank California. This role is supporting an acting as a shared service supporting Disney Marketing and titles development teams .This is a Full-stack senior Java Kotlin, React engineer working on an on-going project, developing and upgrading oldrr syatems into newer platforms. Upgrading current APIs into imcroservices utilizing CI/CD Pipelines and AWS cloud

This position is hybrid onsite 2-3 days a week in thier Brubank location

Required Skills & Experience

• Intermediate to advanced coding experience with Java Kotlin
• Experience writing, maintaining and deploying API / Microservices services.
• ability to hit the ground running developing with React / TypeScript
• Experience integrating with CI/CD platforms and tool chains such as Git bucket
• Amazon Web Services-based infrastructure and management including some of: Route 53, ALB, EC2, CloudFormation,

Desired Skills & Experience

• console envoy for micor mesh big plus.
• Experience applying security best practices to application, system, and public cloud infrastructure.

What You Will Be Doing
Daily Responsibilities

• Writes code that enhances frameworks, typically for software programs and systems that have little or no precedent.
• Reviews code for readability, maintainability, testability, and clear usability.
• Contributes to architecture design and implementation of assigned projects.
• Provides integration and platform support to internal users and teams.
