Senior Cyber Data Protection Engineer / Proofpoint Specialist

Job Description

A healthcare company is seeking a Senior Cyber Data Protection Engineer to join their security team. You will be responsible for engineering, deploying, and supporting their Proofpoint technologies and products, including MTA, POD, TAP, CTR, EFD, Isolation, DLP, and Encryption. This role is heavily focused on supporting their workflow platforms in both on-prem and cloud environments. Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience with Proofpoint, and have utilized various products within its suite. Healthcare or regulated industry experience is also preferred.

This role is 100% Remote but candidates must reside in California, Oregon, Washington, Colorado, Georgia, Virginia, Maryland, or Washington DC. 

This is a 12 month contract to hire opportunity.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of experience in security engineering
• 3+ years of experience utilizing Proofpoint
• Experience with Proofpoint products such as MTA, POD, TAP, CTR, EFD, Isolation, DLP, and Encryption
• Experience deploying infrastructure in on-prem and cloud environments
• Strong communication skills
