Angular Developer / Hybrid / Chicago

This company is seeking an experienced Angular Developer to join the team, this developer would be working closely with the trading desk and providing critical technical support for the futures trading platform. This is a hybrid role with the opportunity to collaborate directly with traders and other stakeholders. As part of the team, you'll be responsible for building and enhancing features of the platform, ensuring seamless user experience and addressing the unique needs of the trading desk.
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance the front-end of our trading platform using Angular
• Work directly with the trade desk team to understand user needs and develop solutions that improve the trading experience.
• Interface with the customer-facing side of the trade desk to gather requirements and provide technical support.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership and contribute to the architectural decisions around front-end development.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong experience with Angular development.
• Trading knowledge is highly preferred; familiarity with trading concepts and platforms is a must.
• Excellent communication skills; ability to speak directly with the trade desk team and interface with internal customers effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Desired Experience:

• Experience working in a trading environment or with financial systems.
• Familiarity with related technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, and REST APIs
• Passion for futures trading and the trading technology ecosystem
