Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 10 years in network engineering roles
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
- Hands-on expertise with networking hardware (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Arista)
- Strong understanding of networking protocols and layers (Dynamic/Static Routing, Layers 2-4)
- Proficiency in Linux systems with Bash scripting and Python programming skills
- Experience with network automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and configure firewalls, routers, and related hardware
- Familiarity with designing and managing cloud network environments in AWS or Azure
- Knowledge of disaster recovery and business continuity processes
Preferred Skills & Certifications
- Advanced certifications (e.g., CCNP, JNCIA/JNCIS, JNCIP, CCIE/JNCIE)
- Strong Linux expertise, including tools like Nginx, HA Proxy, and TCPDump
- Experience with network diagnostic and monitoring tools such as NMAP and IP utilities
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to detailed documentation
