.NET Software Engineer

Contract
$55/hr - $57/hr
Experian- Fortune 100 company- worldwide- doing billions of dollars a year. Most known as a consumer credit reporting company. This position is in their marketing department.
Why open? Backfill - contractor not extending
Software Engineer 3- join an existing team that has a product that’s been around for awhile- built on .NET, C#, JavaScript, React.
Come in and hit the ground running with those type of technologies quickly.
Agile group- knowledge around Agile
Understand testing from a unit testing perspective- build appropriate tests for code (we use Jest and Puppeteer)
Be able to do peer reviews.
Need to know FE and BE- 50/50 Full Stack- tickets all over the place for both FE and BE.
BE- we use SQL Server and Snowflake- understanding those technologies would be good.
We are moving to AWS- application will be in AWS- knowledge of AWS will be very useful but not a whole lot they have to do with it.
Degree? Not necessarily. Experience will work as well.
YOE: 5+ years
Preference on where the person lives: prefer central time zone- East Coast works as well- meetings are early. Mountain being the furthest.
Team: Costa Rica, US (majority EC and Central, 1 person PST)
Any industry background or experience w/ large corporations? Ad-tech and marketing would be good to have. Understanding that industry. Dealing w/ large data. Neither is required.
Data wise: billions of records data wise.
Top 3-5 must haves: React, .NET, C#, JavaScript, database experience SQL Server
Nice to have: Snowflake,
Day to day: pmo, product person and scrum master in meetings, 2 weeks sprints. Everyone is virtual. Communication is via labtop and teams meetings.
Extension or conversion: always possible, conversion maybe on the table. Too far out in the future to answer that.

2nd rd- get to know Jeff (hiring manager)- culture fit
