PowerShell & SQL Admin

Job Description

Our client, a financial services company, is looking for a PowerShell & SQL Admin in either Westlake or Plano, Tx.

Right now, they are looking for a PowerShell & SQL Admin with a system engineering background. This role is a heavy scripting, query writing and automation role. Coming from window environment, minimum four years of windows systems experience.

It is a 12-month contract hybrid role with a $50-55 hr. pay rate.

Required Skills and Experience

• 4+ years of Systems Engineering or Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.
• Experience with process optimization through automation using a variety of tools to build and implement solutions that are scalable, reusable and robust from inception to completion in a production environment.
• PowerShell/Batch Scripting
• MS-SQL, Oracle, and T-SQL query writing experience

Desired Skills and Experience

• Certificate Management Experience
• Java or Tomcat experience
• Compliance, Archiving, or eDiscovery application experience
• SSRS Reporting
• Service Now and\or database change management (Liquibase) experience
• SRE Experience

What you will be doing

• Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables and contribute to large-scale planning deliverables.
• Review and analyze moderately complex challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
• Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with client personnel.
• Support the Archiving and Compliance team which is responsible for day-to-day maintenance, functionality and support of the system of record for electronic communications.
