Azure Data Engineer - DFW Metro

A fast-growing global organization is looking for a SQL / Data Engineering Developer to support high?performance databases, modern data pipelines, and advanced search/AI systems. This is a hybrid role with 2 onsite day per week near the south side of DFW Airport.

What You’ll Do

• Build and optimize stored procedures, functions, indexes (SQL Server 2019/2022)
• Develop data pipelines using SSIS, Azure Data Factory, and Microsoft Fabric
• Work with APIs, JSON ingestion, and Git?based deployments
• Design ElasticSearch indexes, queries, and ingestion flows
• Use Terraform to provision Azure resources
• Integrate ML models and support LLM?powered RAG and agentic AI systems
• Own schema design and collaborate across teams

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science (Master’s preferred)
• 5+ years SQL programming experience
• Strong SQL Server, data pipeline development, and performance tuning skills
• Experience with Azure, ElasticSearch, or ML/NLP is a plus
