Job Description Our client, a local interior design wholesaler, is looking for two Help Desk Technicians to join their support team. One of these roles will be more people facing – focusing on tier 1 deskside support, answering calls and emails, and assisting employees with their minor technical issues. The second role is more tier 2 oriented – doing higher level ticket resolution, supporting the network team on projects from time to time, and supporting the application team.

The ideal candidates have a few years of experience in an IT support position doing a mix of tier 1 and tier 2 support functions. Must have excellent communication skills so you can work directly with employees from all departments to assist with their laptops, printers, email platforms, etc. Tech wise, they need someone skilled with Windows, Exchange/M365, Active Directory, hardware (printers, laptops, office equipment), and any Cisco network support is nice to have.

These are direct hire positions, fully onsite in Dallas, Texas. Compensation for the Tier 1 role is $20-25/hr and compensation for the Tier 2 position is $25-30/hr. Required Skills & Experience
  • Experience working on an IT support team, working directly with end users to address concerns.
  • Experience working in a Windows and Microsoft based environment, doing tier 1 and 2 support.
  • Ability to troubleshoot hardware (laptops, printers, etc).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor or Associate Degree OR related certifications (CompTIA certs, Microsoft certs, etc).
  • Any project based support experience for infrastructure or application teams is nice to have.
