They are seeking a Cloud Security/Network Engineer to play a key role in managing and upgrading their network infrastructure. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience with Palo Alto firewalls and Azure. Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Bicep is preferred, though Terraform is also acceptable. Additional technical skills include expertise in Splunk, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Defender, PowerShell, and Python. Responsibilities include handling on-premises networking, supporting application security, collaborating closely with the development team, and contributing to the deployment of new applications and network upgrades.

This full-time role offers $110K–$120K, great benefits, and 3–4 onsite days per week.

Required Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (preferred).
  • Professional certifications such as CCNP, JNCIP, SANS GIAC (GPPA, GCIA), MCSA, or MCSE are highly desirable.
  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Windows Server and Client Operating Systems, TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, WLAN, and network/routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, VLANs, DHCP, DNS, and firewalls).
  • Expertise in cloud infrastructure, software-defined networking (IaaS, PaaS, SDN), and virtualization technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with scripting/automation tools such as PowerShell, Bicep, Python, or Ansible.
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Strong cybersecurity knowledge, including intrusion detection/prevention systems, PKI/SSL certificate management, and firewall configuration.
  • Experience with DDoS protection and compliance with SEC/HIPAA regulations.
  • Proficiency in load balancing technologies (Azure, F5, A10), Single Sign-On (SSO) implementation, Kubernetes, Docker, and Linux command line operations.
