QA Engineer / Midlevel / Onsite in Dallas

A fast growing SaaS startup in and AI and security space is currently seeking a mid-level Quality Assurance Engineer to help strengthen and scale product quality as the platform continues to evolve. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in an early-stage environment, is comfortable wearing multiple hats, and wants to help shape QA processes from the ground up. 

The QA Engineer will work closely with product teams, software engineers, and DevOps resources to establish testing best practices, support rapid feature development, and contribute to the eventual role out of test automation. While automation experience is a plus, this role does not require an existing background in that area - curiosity, adaptability, and a strong testing mindset are more important at the moment.

This role does require someone to work onsite 5 days a week in downtown Dallas.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 2-4 years of experience in QA, Software Testing, or Quality Engineering focused roles
  • Strong manual testing experience in SaaS or web based applications
  • Experience working at a startup or fact moving product environment
  • Familiarity with agile development processes
  • Experience writing clear test cases, scenarios, and documentation
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with product and engineering teams
  • Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Exposure to test automation concepts or tools (any framework or language)
  • Experience testing APIs or backend services
  • Familiarity with CI/CD concepts, even if not hands on
  • Interest in growing into automation as the platform and tooling mature
