Senior Backend Software Engineer / Golang / AWS

We are partnered with a company in the automotive space, they leverage AI and computer vision as they revolutionize traffic, parking and fleet management. They are currently hiring a Senior Backend Engineer to join their team on a full-time direct hire basis. If you are passionate about building scalable systems where your work can directly improve city life this is the role for you.

They are ideally looking for a back-end engineer that is strong in programming with Golang, as well as working with PostgreSQL databases, Docker and AWS. Any experience with Typescript or data tools is a nice to have. In addition, any background or experience working in a fast-paced startup environment is a bonus.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong experience working with Golang
• Deep experience with relational databases—especially PostgreSQL
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and architecture
• Experience with Docker and containerized application deployment
• Proven ability to lead system design and architecture decisions
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills—written and verbal

• Experience integrating payment systems
• Background in fast-paced startup environments
