Senior Data Engineer | ONSITE Denver, CO

We are seeking a Data Engineer to join a small, collaborative team responsible for managing and enhancing datasets in an Azure Fabric / Azure environment. The core database infrastructure is already built, so you will hit the ground running, optimizing pipelines, integrating new data sources, and ensuring high-quality, reliable datasets. This role offers autonomy, allowing you to take ownership of projects, challenge assumptions, and defend ideas in a collaborative setting.

You will design, optimize, and maintain Azure-based data pipelines, ensuring efficient processing, transformation, and storage of large-scale datasets. Your work will focus on pipeline performance, system reliability, and scalability, keeping the environment robust and production-ready. This is a highly technical, hands-on role with a focus on execution and problem-solving.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proficiency with Azure Fabric, Azure Data Factory, and SQL for building and managing pipelines
• Knowledge of data modeling and schema design
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate and defend technical decisions in a small-team setting

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience with ETL pipeline design and optimization in cloud-based environments
• Experience maintaining high-performance, reliable production pipelines
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to improving systems and processes
