This full-time, Field Technician role is based in Lockport, IL with a hybrid schedule, working for our client—a 30-year-old, family-oriented tech services company known for delivering expert outsourced IT, security, and communications solutions. As part of their Information Technology department, you’ll work hands-on with a wide range of technologies including PCs, servers, networking equipment, Microsoft systems, and IP-based communications/security systems.

Required Skills & Experience
· Minimum 1 year in an MSP or corporate IT environment
· Proven experience with PCs, laptops, servers, routers, and firewalls
· Microsoft Server & Workstation OS (Windows 7–11)
· Office 365, Microsoft Azure
· Hardware/software troubleshooting (Layers 1, 2, and 3)
· Experience installing and supporting wireless communications or security systems
· Networking skills (routers, switches, IP-based systems)
· Valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 50 lbs
· Strong communication and teamwork skills
Desired Skills & Experience
· Certifications in networking, Motorola, RF, or security systems
· Experience with Adobe, QuickBooks, or industry-specific tech support
· Familiarity with radios, IP-based security systems, or access control
· Leadership and mentoring abilities
· Hands-on testing proficiency and willingness to undergo drug screening

Daily Responsibilities
· 35% Conduct on-site client appointments for installation and service
· 30% Work tickets remotely and resolve IT/network issues
· 20% Collaborate with internal teams and coordinate solutions
· 15% Train clients or teammates and maintain detailed service record
