A leading enterprise organization headquartered in Dunwoody, Georgia is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with a strong infrastructure background to join a high-impact engineering team responsible for scaling and automating cloud-native environments. This position is ideal for DevOps professionals who have hands-on experience with AWS, EKS, Terraform, and infrastructure as code (IaC) best practices in production-grade environments.
The Senior DevOps Engineer will play a key role in building, managing, and securing cloud infrastructure, with a focus on container orchestration, CI/CD pipelines, and system scalability. This is a highly collaborative role working alongside application engineers, cloud architects, and security teams to ensure resilient, observable, and automated cloud platforms.
Key Responsibilities-
Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS services and Terraform

Manage and optimize EKS clusters, including provisioning, scaling, upgrades, and monitoring

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar)

Implement infrastructure-as-code, configuration management, and automated provisioning

Monitor system performance and availability with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or CloudWatch

Collaborate with development and security teams to ensure reliable and secure deployments

Troubleshoot infrastructure-related issues and provide production support as needed

Participate in infrastructure reviews, cost optimization efforts, and architectural planning

5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure

Strong proficiency with AWS core services, particularly EKS, EC2, IAM, VPC, and CloudFormation

Deep expertise in Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management

Solid understanding of container orchestration using Kubernetes (EKS preferred)

Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and working in GitOps workflows

Familiarity with Linux systems, shell scripting, and networking concepts

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex systems

Experience with Helm, ArgoCD, or Flux for Kubernetes management

Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments (e.g., IAM policies, KMS, Secrets Manager)

Experience with observability tools such as Datadog, New Relic, or ELK stack

Familiarity with Python, Go, or another scripting language for automation

Exposure to Agile/Scrum environments and DevSecOps practices

This role is hybrid or on-site in Dunwoody, GA. Local candidates are strongly preferred.
