Headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas, they are the largest independent pilots' union globally and plays a critical role in collective bargaining, safety advocacy, and government affairs. Their mission is to enhance aviation safety and the quality of life for their members, leveraging innovative technologies and agile development practices to deliver robust and efficient solutions.
They are seeking a skilled Mid-Level to Senior .NET Engineer to join their technology team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining secure and scalable applications that support operations. - Design, develop, and maintain web applications using .NET technologies, including ASP.NET and .NET Core.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize front-end components using HTML/XHTML, HTML5, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features and enhancements.
- Develop and optimize SQL Server databases, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability.
- Build and maintain integrations and APIs, with expertise in SOAP and RESTful web services.
- Work with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines, code repositories, and release management.
- Implement messaging and integration solutions using Azure Service Bus.
- Contribute to architecture discussions, best practices, and process improvements.
- Participate in Agile/SCRUM ceremonies, ensuring deliverables align with project goals and timelines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- 4+ years of professional experience in software development with a focus on .NET technologies.
- Proficiency in .NET, ASP.NET, and SQL Server.
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and Azure Service Bus.
- Knowledge of microservices and application security best practices.
- Strong hands-on experience with HTML/XHTML, HTML5, HTTP, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Proven expertise in building and consuming SOAP and RESTful APIs.
- Strong understanding of Agile/SCRUM methodologies and a demonstrated ability to work effectively in an Agile environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience in aviation or labor advocacy industries.
- Familiarity with other Azure services and cloud-native design principles.
