Job Description
Our client, a Texas based logistics company, is looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join their team. They are looking for a seasoned engineer who can spearhead their documentation efforts and help streamline their workflow processes. They are also looking to build out a new warehouse and need a technically strong individual to assist in the design and deployment of their new warehouse.
Their network infrastructure consists primarily of Catalyst, FortiGate, and Ruckus equipment so having experience with those three vendors is ideal. The ideal candidate has experience working in a large multi-vendor environment with a lot of wireless networking experience. Tech wise, they need someone with Catalyst, FortiGate, SDWAN, and vLAN experience.
This is 6 month contract-to-hire position based out of Fort Worth, Texas. You will need to go onsite 2-3 days a week. Compensation is $55-60/hr depending on experience with a conversion salary of $110-120K.

Required Skills & Experience
- Experience designing and building out a warehouse from the ground up.
- Experience working with the Fortinet suite of products, especially FortiGate.
- Advanced knowledge of wireless networking (ideally with Ruckus, but other wireless networking experience is fine).
- Written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong documentation skills.
Desired Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of experience working in a network engineering capacity.
- Bachelor’s or associate’s degree in related field or relative certifications (CCNA, CCNP, NSE, etc).
