Senior Network Engineer

Our client, a Texas headquartered financial company focusing on bringing financial solutions and services to military families, is looking for a Senior Network Engineer. They need a Cisco route and switch SME to join their networking team and be a mentor and leader for their more junior level network engineers.

The ideal candidate is very strong with Cisco route and switch, load balancing, and network design/architectural capabilities. They are also looking to lessen their datacenter’s digital footprint by moving to Azure over time, so any knowledge or experience with Azure cloud networking is a huge perk. Tech wise, they are looking for someone who has worked with Cisco Catalyst/Nexus, Palo Alto, Panorama, and Azure and Meraki are nice to haves.

This is a direct hire position, hybrid (3 days onsite a week) out of Fort Worth, Texas. Compensation is $110K plus an 8% bonus and equity. Required Skills & Experience

• Advanced knowledge of Cisco routing and switching.
• Experience working with Palo Alto Panorama firewalls.
• Knowledge of Azure cloud networking.
• Ability to mentor and lead junior level staff.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Desired Skills & Experience

• 5-7 years of experience working as a Cisco focused network engineer, 1+ year of Azure cloud networking experience.
• Relative certifications or degrees are nice to have (CCIE, CCNP, etc).
