Senior Network Engineer / NAC & Security

Our client, which is a small consultative company, based out of Richardson is looking for Senior Network Engineer who is strong with security and NAC components. This organization specializes in networking and IT security solutions specifically and is a proven channel provider. They partner with vendors like Fortinet and Aruba to design and implement network security solutions for clients based off their equipment purchases.

The organization has been successful for many years and is prime to grow, hence their desire to add another engineer to their team. Ideally, they are looking for some who is skilled with Fortinet and Aruba gears. You will be doing a mix of layer 1-4 engineering. Handling a mix of building a network environment from scratch for a client to handling firewall upgrades, etc.

This person will work a lot with FortiGate and ClearPass a lot. Due to the this role being client facing, they are also looking for the soft skills to be able to help consult with their client's key decision makers.

This is an onsite role out of their Richardson office, with potential flexibility for some one day remote. It is a direct hire role, salary will be between $110-130K plus potential for bonus. Required Skills & Experience
  • Experience working in a consulting, VAR, or MSP based environment.
  • Experience architecting, designing, configuring, and deploying FortiGate firewalls and/or NAC solutions.
  • Willingness to mentor more junior engineers and eagerness to learn from teammates.
  • NSE and/or Aruba (ACCA/ACCP) based certifications.
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Bachelors or masters in Computer Science, or related field.
