FortiGate/NAC Engineer

Our client is a small MSP based out of Richardson that specializes in networking and IT security solutions. They partner with vendors like Fortinet and Aruba to design and implement network security solutions for clients based off their equipment purchases.

They're looking to bring on a network engineer with expertise implementing Fortinet Security and NAC solutions for their clients. You would be jumping right in on some of their existing projects helping with the design, staging, configurations, and occasional rack & stack for their clients. They need someone that is eager to work in a collaborative environment where you're both learning from and mentoring your colleagues. Need someone with NSE 7 certification and other networking certifications preferred.

This is a fully onsite, direct hire role based in Richardson, Texas. Compensation is flexible but max is $130K. Required Skills & Experience

• Experience working in a consulting, VAR, or MSP based environment.
• Experience architecting, designing, configuring, and deploying FortiGate firewalls and NAC solutions.
• Strong collaborative mindset and willingness to work closely with a project team.
• Willingness to mentor more junior engineers and eagerness to learn from teammates.
• NSE certifications (preferably NSE 7).

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelors or masters in Computer Science, or related field.
• Other technical certifications nice to have as well (ACCP, ACCX, CCNA, etc).
• Aruba ClearPass NAC experience.
