Network Engineer

Our client is a local VAR that partners with large scale MSPs and network vendors to help design, stage, and install equipment for their clients. They currently need a strong Network Engineer to work with their project managers to do the network design and deployments for their clients. The ideal candidate is willing to get creative with network design and work with what they’re given.

Ideally, you’re experienced working with FortiGate firewalls, Aruba Clearpass, and NAC technologies from a design to deployment to rack & stack front. You will be working closely with their project teams to ensure that the client is getting the best possible network from their equipment. In this role, you’ll both learn from and teach your colleagues and have an always room to grow mindset.

This is a fully onsite, direct hire role based in Richardson, Texas. Compensation is $110-130K. Required Skills & Experience

• Experience working with FortiGate, Aruba Clearpass, and NAC technologies.
• Experience doing consultative, MSP, or VAR based work.
• Knowledge of high-level network design and configurations.
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to efficiently communicate with a team.
• Desire for continuous learning and career development/improvement.
• NSE 4 or higher.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelors or masters in Computer Science, or related field.
• Other technical certifications nice to have as well (ACCP, ACCX, CCNA, etc).
