System Administrator

Our client, a small local energy and utilities company, is looking for a System Administrator to join their team. In the role, you’d be pivotal to the maintenance of their system infrastructure and security. They are seeking a Windows system generalist who is ready to help out where needed – whether that’s ensuring their system security doing intrusion mitigation or working on their VMware servers or helping out with support tickets.

You would be helping maintain a smaller infrastructure environment, doing a variety of Windows system administration functions and support. They need someone with a solid foundational knowledge of system security who can help them upgrade to and secure their Windows environment. Tech wise, they need someone strong with Windows, VMware, AWS, Active Directory/Group Policy, and Microsoft 365.

This is an onsite role in Fort Worth, Texas. Compensation is $100-110K annually. Required Skills & Experience

• Experience working within a Windows environment, supporting end-users and maintaining servers.
• Experience maintaining VMware environments working with vSphere and vSphere Replication.
• Strong foundational knowledge of system security (including intrusion mitigation and detection).
• Willingness to help with support tickets when necessary.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelors or Masters degree or related certifications nice to have.
• Any knowledge of network administration or troubleshooting a perk.
