Junior Systems Engineer

Location: Fort Worth, TX (Hybrid)

Job Type: Long-Term Contract

Overview:

We are seeking a Junior Systems Engineer for a long-term contract role with a hybrid work model in Fort Worth. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Windows 10 and a foundational understanding of a variety of systems, networking, and server technologies.

Must Have:
  • Experience with Windows 10

Desired Skills (Familiarity with the following is a plus):
  • MySQL database management
  • Apache web server
  • PuTTY SSH and Telnet Client
  • Ubuntu 18 Linux distribution
  • Windows Server 2019
  • Scripting: PowerShell, BASH, or similar
  • Storage technologies: SAN and NAS
  • TCP/IP Networking
  • Network technologies: firewalls, routing, LAN, WAN, DNS
  • System monitoring tools: (e.g., Dynatrace or others)
  • Server virtualization technologies: VMware ESX, Citrix XenApp, Microsoft HyperV
  • Application and Web servers
  • SSL technologies: https, sftp, SSH, TLS, etc.
