Job Description
This is a full-time opportunity for an AI Agent Engineer based in Irvine, CA (on-site, 5 days/week). Our client is a well-funded consumer tech startup operating at the intersection of AI, computer vision, and hardware. The company is scaling rapidly and building intelligent systems that power immersive, real-time coaching experiences for users across a unique vertical.
This is a high-impact role for an engineer who thrives in fast-paced environments and wants to work directly with a founding team. You’ll be building AI agents, deploying computer vision models, and integrating synthetic media into a real-time coaching platform. The team is small, intense, and highly motivated, ideal for someone who enjoys solving hard problems and shipping quickly. Relocation support is available for candidates open to moving to Orange County, CA.
Required Skills & Experience
· Proven experience building LLM agents or orchestration tools (LangChain, LangGraph, etc.)
· Hands-on expertise in computer vision (pose estimation, regression, object detection)
· Strong full-stack development skills across backend, frontend, and mobile
· Experience deploying ML models in production environments
· Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to execute rapidly
· Strong communication and collaboration across technical domains
Desired Skills & Experience
· Experience with synthetic media generation or video automation
· Familiarity with edge deployment and real-time inference
· Background in consumer hardware or embedded systems
· Prior startup experience or comfort working in high-growth environments
