They are currently seeking a Tier 1 Support Specialist with expertise in general user support, combining remote and deskside assistance. The role focuses on working with the Windows and Microsoft product suite, including Active Directory, Outlook, Exchange, MS Teams, and equipment provisioning.
This is a 3-6 month contract-to-hire opportunity based onsite in Irving, requiring a 5-day in-office schedule. The position offers a pay rate of $20-25/hour, with working hours from 10 AM to 7 PM.

What You Will Be Doing

Required Skills & Experience
- Tier 1 corporate technical support via phone, email, and ticketing system submissions.
- Experience with Exchange and Active Directory.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Excel, Word, and Adobe Acrobat Reader.
- Strong problem-solving skills and analytical troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems.
- Experience installing printers and managing print servers.
- Accredited technical certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft Certified).
- Familiarity with IBM AS/400 systems.
- Aptitude and desire to learn new technologies.
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.

- 50% Hardware troubleshooting and maintenance.
- 50% Software installation and support.
- 70% Hands-On Technical Support (e.g., ticket resolution, installations).
- 10% Management Duties (e.g., inventory control, documentation).
