Contract Duration: long term contract to possible hire W2 only Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of Specialty Software Engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs) – e.g., ChatGPT, LangChain, Gemini.
  • Expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP).
  • Hands-on prompt engineering experience.
  • Python proficiency (must-have).
  • Familiarity with:
  o Model performance optimization.
  o Customizing AI models for enterprise use.
  o Development experience in C# or Java (bonus).
• Key Concept: Model Context Protocol (MCP)
  • Customizes LLM prompts using Wells Fargo-specific internal data.
  • Prevents LLMs from returning generic answers.
  • Queries internal repositories and standards before reaching out to public internet data sources.
• Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Deep knowledge of LLMs and NLP.
  • Proven experience building intelligent, contextual AI tools.
  • Strong Python skills; familiarity with enterprise dev languages (Java/C#).
  • Experience designing and implementing MCP-like protocols.
  • Understands performance tuning of AI models.

What You Will Be Doing

• This is a pure AI engineering role focused on building AI solutions from the ground up — such as using LLMs for intelligent code remediation. This role is not tied to traditional Application Security work but supports forward-thinking innovation within that space.
• Develop custom AI solutions using internal Wells Fargo context (not generic LLM answers).
  • Build and implement Model Context Protocol (MCP) to contextualize LLM responses using internal policies, standards, and documentation.
