Job Description
A leading interactive entertainment company is hiring a Senior Software Engineer – Machine Learning on a contract basis. This is a remote opportunity to join a specialized ML engineering team focused on building large-scale systems that enhance competitive gameplay experiences through AI-driven features.
You’ll be working on a high-profile title in development, contributing to the design and deployment of ML pipelines, reinforcement learning policies, and scalable infrastructure. The goal is to create intelligent game scenarios that support player growth, challenge skill levels, and elevate the overall experience. This is a hands-on role with strong cross-functional collaboration across engineering, product, and research.
Contract duration: 12 months
Required Skills & Experience
· 2–3 years of professional experience delivering ML systems in production
· Strong background in infrastructure and MLOps
· Proficiency in Python, plus experience with C++, Java, or C#
· Hands-on experience with SQL and data-driven system design
· Proven ability to work on large, complex systems at scale
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Desired Skills & Experience
· Experience in gaming or a strong personal interest in games
· Familiarity with reinforcement learning concepts
· Experience working with LLM systems
· Exposure to Unreal Engine development (a plus)
· Strong collaboration skills across interdisciplinary teams

Tech Breakdown
· 70% ML Systems Architecture, Pipeline Development, and Infrastructure
· 30% Collaboration with Game Engineers, Researchers, and Product Teams
Daily Responsibilities
· Hands-On Development (ML pipelines, RL policies, infrastructure)
· Mentorship and Technical Guidance
· Team Collaboration and Feature Integration
