The company is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Sr. QA Engineer to join its growing team. This role can be based in Santa Monica, CA or fully remote (United States) and will play a pivotal part in ensuring the quality and reliability of web, mobile, and API products. The Sr. QA Engineer will report directly to the Head of QA and collaborate with the CTO, developers, product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver top-tier products to high-profile clients. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and enjoys designing scalable QA processes and automation strategies.
Required Skills & Experience-
5+ years of experience as a Software Quality Engineer or similar role

Strong understanding of QA methodologies, best practices, and the software development lifecycle

Proven ability to create, maintain, and execute comprehensive end-to-end manual and automated test suites across web and mobile platforms

Hands-on experience in Agile Scrum environments and working with tools such as JIRA or similar

Proficient in debugging and observability tools for desktop and mobile environments

Excellent organizational and time management skills; thrives in fast-paced environments

Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new technologies and frameworks

Capable of managing multiple priorities and projects concurrently

Highly proactive, collaborative, and results-driven

Exceptional communication and documentation skills with acute attention to detail

Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, Postman, RestAssured, or TestNG

Contributions to QA frameworks or internal tooling improvements

Exposure to data quality testing, including financial data validation

Experience with Git version control

Understanding of CI/CD practices and implementation

Background in ticketing, live events, music, SaaS, or entertainment industries

FinTech or financial services experience, including payment flow validation and transaction integrity

Security-focused QA experience, including vulnerability testing and data protection validation

Familiarity with modern relational and NoSQL databases

Define and drive QA strategy across web, mobile, and API platforms

Conduct hands-on end-to-end functional testing

Own and scale automated test coverage for critical workflows and edge cases

Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, UX designers, and finance teams

Diagnose and document issues with precision and clarity

Elevate QA practices, processes, and reporting

Advocate a quality-first culture across engineering, product, and customer success teams

Continuously explore the product ecosystem to identify improvements from technical and customer-centric perspectives

Design and implement automated and manual test strategies

Participate in Agile ceremonies such as scrums, planning, grooming, and stand-ups

Investigate bugs, inconsistencies, and edge cases with detailed documentation

Mentor and support team members, sharing best practices and QA strategies

Ensure high-quality releases across all platforms

Salary: $90,000–$120,000 + Bonus + Equity
