Senior Site Reliability Engineer/ Los Angeles, CA/ Hybrid

Job Description

A large gaming company is looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to come join their team based in Los Angeles!

This person will be apart of a team of Site Reliability Engineers that leverage their skills to to help solve complex live services challenges at a global scale! There is an emphasis on the execution and operations of multiple games, internal products and future unreleased games as well!

Required Skills & Experience

- Experience working with Perforce at an administrative level
- Experience in Unreal Engine environments and ecosystems (UE5)
- 6+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering
- Knowledge with programming languages such as Python, Ruby, Bash, Golang
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation

- A problem-oriented mindset focusing on the why
- Optimization of build bottlenecks that support developers

What You Will Be Doing

Responsibilities

- Build tooling, automation, or build cloud native solutions to mitigate problems
- Provide expertise and on-call support for specific games or platforms in rotations
- Collaborate closely with other engineers and studio members
- Provide mentorship, while fostering growth
- Develop strategies to implement IaC in the cloud and ensure successful deployment

The Offer

- Base pay ranges from 125K-225K
