Job Description
This is a full-time opportunity for a Platform Architect based in Southern California (hybrid, 2 days onsite in Westlake Village). Our client is a rapidly growing digital entertainment company operating in a regulated space, with a unique platform that blends real-time data, gaming mechanics, and transactional systems. The company is expanding its reach across dozens of U.S. states and recently signed a major partnership with a nationally recognized brand.
This role is ideal for a senior technologist who thrives in high-growth environments and wants to shape the architectural foundation of a complex, multi-domain platform. You’ll work directly with engineering leadership and external partners to define standards, frameworks, and scalable infrastructure that supports both B2C and B2B operations. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with deep technical expertise and strong communication skills.
Required Skills & Experience
· 10–15 years of experience in software architecture or platform engineering
· Proven ability to design scalable, secure, and cost-effective systems
· Experience defining reference architectures, standards, and governance models
· Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, microservices, and system interoperability
· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Desired Skills & Experience
· Experience in regulated industries (e.g., fintech, gaming, healthcare)
· Familiarity with platform integrations across mobile, web, and third-party APIs
· Background in mentoring engineering teams and driving architectural adoption
· Exposure to high-availability systems and failover strategies
