We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst with expertise in marketing analytics and lending industry clients to take ownership of both day-to-day and strategic client analytics, helping to refine campaigns and improve financial outcomes.
Position Overview:As a Senior Data Analyst, you will have a central role in managing and analyzing data for lending industry clients. You will take on both day-to-day and strategic ownership of client analytics, providing insights into loan origination, marketing performance, customer behavior, and campaign optimization. Working closely with clients in the lending sector, you'll develop tailored reporting and data strategies that help improve conversion rates, reduce default rates, and optimize lending operations. This role is ideal for someone with 5+ years of analytical experience, a deep understanding of the lending industry, and a passion for data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Analytics Ownership: Take day-to-day and strategic ownership of client analytics, providing tailored insights and reporting focused on loan origination, customer acquisition, conversion rates, and portfolio performance.
- Lead Generation & Campaign Optimization: Analyze and optimize lead generation strategies for lending campaigns, recommending improvements to increase application submissions, loan approvals, and customer retention rates.
- Advanced Data Cleaning & Analysis: Perform advanced data cleaning, transformation, and analysis to ensure that marketing and loan data are accurate and high-quality, supporting better decision-making.
- Dashboard Development & Reporting: Develop and maintain dynamic, client-facing dashboards in Tableau (or similar tools), providing actionable insights on KPIs such as loan volume, approval rates, customer acquisition costs, and default rates.
- Marketing & Loan Performance Insights: Analyze the performance of marketing campaigns and lending strategies, identifying key trends and opportunities to optimize the customer journey from application to loan approval and repayment.
- Client Collaboration & Strategy Development: Work closely with lending industry clients to understand their business objectives and use data insights to recommend data-driven strategies for improving lead conversion, loan approval processes, and customer retention.
- Database Optimization & Reporting Systems: Ensure that marketing databases, reporting systems, and client dashboards are optimized for accuracy and efficiency, supporting smooth loan origination and approval workflows.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in an analytical role, with a focus on loan origination, marketing analytics, and campaign performance optimization.
- Client-Facing Experience: Experience delivering data insights, creating tailored reports, and advising clients on improving loan origination and marketing performance.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Expertise in Python for advanced data analysis, automation, and reporting related to loan performance and customer behavior.
- Advanced skills in SQL to query and manipulate large datasets related to loan portfolios, marketing campaigns, and customer data.
- Strong proficiency in Tableau (or similar BI tools) for creating dynamic dashboards and reporting systems.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze loan and marketing data to identify trends and deliver actionable insights that drive loan approval rates, customer acquisition, and portfolio optimization.
- Communication & Presentation: Ability to present complex data insights in a clear and actionable way to both technical teams and non-technical clients in the lending industry.
- Problem-Solving & Strategic Thinking: Experience in solving complex data challenges within the lending and financial services industries, with a focus on improving business outcomes such as loan volume, credit risk management, and customer retention.
