Job Description

A fast-growing technology software company is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to support and scale its cloud infrastructure and high-performance manufacturing platform. In this role, you will lead the design, automation, and optimization of cloud environments, ensuring reliability, security, and operational excellence across the organization.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience with AWS and cloud-native services

  • Proven background in CI/CD automation, release engineering, and deployment workflows

  • Proficiency with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent)

  • Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)

  • Strong knowledge of Linux systems, networking fundamentals, and security best practices

  • Scripting/programming skills in Python, Bash, or Go

  • Experience with monitoring/observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana)

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, robotics, or industrial engineering environments

  • Knowledge of service meshes, distributed systems, or microservices

  • Experience supporting high-availability, real-time applications

  • Familiarity with GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, or similar tooling


What You Will Be Doing

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Building and maintaining cloud infrastructure to support mission-critical systems

  • Designing and improving CI/CD pipelines for reliability and speed

  • Enhancing platform performance, scalability, and overall system architecture

  • Automating infrastructure and deployment processes

  • Ensuring system reliability through monitoring, alerting, and incident response

  • Collaborating closely with software, data, and platform engineering teams
