Position Overview

We are seeking a Lead AWS DevOps Engineer to oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of our cloud infrastructure. This role will play a key part in ensuring scalability, reliability, and security across our customer engagement platform. You’ll lead initiatives around CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and cloud architecture while mentoring a small team of DevOps engineers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, deployment, and maintenance of AWS infrastructure supporting production and development environments.

  • Build and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery and improve release reliability.

  • Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions to ensure system health and uptime.

  • Champion Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.

  • Collaborate closely with development, QA, and product teams to enhance scalability and performance.

  • Ensure best practices for cloud security, cost optimization, and compliance.

  • Mentor and guide junior DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Qualifications
  • 6+ years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior role.

  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, RDS, S3, CloudFront, etc.).

  • Proven experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar).

  • Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK).

  • Proficiency with scripting languages (Python, Bash, or Go).

  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

  • Solid understanding of networking, security, and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch).

  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Preferred Experience
  • Experience in a SaaS environment or high-availability production systems.

  • Exposure to data analytics, customer engagement, or loyalty platforms.

  • AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or equivalent).
