Position OverviewWe are seeking a Lead AWS DevOps Engineer to oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of our cloud infrastructure. This role will play a key part in ensuring scalability, reliability, and security across our customer engagement platform. You’ll lead initiatives around CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and cloud architecture while mentoring a small team of DevOps engineers.
Key Responsibilities-
Lead the design, deployment, and maintenance of AWS infrastructure supporting production and development environments.

Build and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery and improve release reliability.

Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions to ensure system health and uptime.

Champion Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.

Collaborate closely with development, QA, and product teams to enhance scalability and performance.

Ensure best practices for cloud security, cost optimization, and compliance.

Mentor and guide junior DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement.

6+ years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior role.

Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, RDS, S3, CloudFront, etc.).

Proven experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar).

Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK).

Proficiency with scripting languages (Python, Bash, or Go).

Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

Solid understanding of networking, security, and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch).

Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Experience in a SaaS environment or high-availability production systems.

Exposure to data analytics, customer engagement, or loyalty platforms.

AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or equivalent).
