Staff Software Engineer // Ruby on Rails

A nationwide leader of self-storage facilities within the real estate industry is in the process of identifying a Staff Software Engineer to partner with their engineering team in their Malvern, PA office to build out new features on their existing platform. 

The Staff Software Engineer is expected to have proven experience in building and delivering highly complex applications and strong SaaS commercial product oriented background. The Staff Engineer will working with the Manager of Software Engineering, this leader will assist in helming the build of a highly technical team of Software Engineers (team of 6-8 people).

Required Skills & Experience
• 8+ years experience building leading and managing and applications in emerging tech stacks
• Proficient in programming languages like Ruby (with Rails framework experience ideally), TypeScript/JavaScript, Node, Deno, Hapi, Rust, etc.
• Experience with building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Experience building cloud native applications on any one cloud preferably AWS, asynchronous communications patterns such as via RabbitMQ/Kafka or other methods, caching via Redis, Memcached, Hazelcast, etc caching systems and AWS deployments and services
