Entry Level Systems Engineer

In this entry level system engineering position, you will assist in the creation, deployment, and sustainment of secure cloud communications systems, while developing and maintaining technical documentation that meets government and operational standards. The ideal candidate is an early-career engineer who enjoys solving technical problems and has a passion for clear, professional documentation in support of mission-critical environments. This position is designed to develop system engineering talent for future contracts. U.S. Citizenship and eligibility to obtain a TS/SCI clearance is required.
Key Responsibilities:
? Assist the system engineering staff in executing activities corresponding to the standard V model from requirements definition through operational deployment.
? Collaborate with engineers and program staff to gather technical inputs for accurate system documentation.
? Write, edit, and maintain key documentation including:
? System architecture and network diagrams
? Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
? Interface Control Documents (ICDs)
? System Security Plans (SSPs)
? Installation/configuration guides and knowledge base articles
? Support documentation and engineering tasks related to specification, test planning, test execution and security documentation and training materials.
? Participate in Agile development sprints and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) across classified and unclassified environments. Qualifications:
? Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Technical Communication, Information Technology, or related field.
? Strong technical writing and communication skills with the ability to explain complex topics clearly and concisely.
? Basic understanding of cloud services, virtualization, and network fundamentals.
? Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple documentation and technical tasks in a dynamic environment.
? Ability to travel CONUS and OCONUS, current pass port.
? U.S. Citizenship and eligibility to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
